The Cherry&What? is having a contest! They’re giving away a signed DVD package of It’s always sunny season 4! WHAT?! How’d they obtain that, and why are the giving it away? 
The Rules:
We want video submissions from you guys, no more than 10 minutes long, showing you and your gang doing a sunny-esque plot at Temple.
The deadline is first 10 entries, or Halloween, whichever comes first. If you have a camera and want to be creative, GO FOR IT, and make Peabody proud!
We want t-shirts for our residents at Peabody!! 
But none of the Ra’s are art students 
SO WE WANT YOU help! Create a design for our Res’ Hall T-shirts and become famous– we’ll put your work online for everyone to see!
We’ll possibly even throw you some diamond dollars, too, if our budget allows for it.

Flu shots, get your flu shots here!! Got a TU ID? Get a free seasonal flu shot. Congratulations everyone, swine flu came, people panicked, and we get free flu shots from it. Couldn’t have done it without ya, mass media. Monday, September 21, and Tuesday, September 22 from 8-12 at one of the three listed locations.

According to a revised edition of the student code of conduct,
Minimum Mandatory Sanctions for Alcohol and Drug violations:
First Finding of Responsibility:
• Notification of parent(s)/guardian(s) regarding violation(s)
• Mandatory participation in Temple University’s Drug and Alcohol
Offense Program
• Fine of $250
Second Finding of Responsibility:
• Notification of parent(s)/guardian(s) regarding violation(s)
• Individual alcohol and drug assessment with DAO program staff and
completion of the appropriately assigned track(s).
• Fine of $700
• Possible Suspension/Expulsion from the residence halls
That $700 is a lot of Saxby mid-day coffees. Save yourself the humiliation and the money. Don’t drink.
Tuesday at 8:30 in the lounge, go to laundry bingo and win cool prizes!!
Residents,
You are allowed to use aerosol, spray-paint, fixatives and any other approved supplies for your art projects ONLY in the designated basement art studio.
Remember to turn on the ventilation fan located on the rear wall near the ceiling windows next to the mural. Keep in mind that residents are not allowed to spray paint or paint on any walls or university furnishing.
Residents should always use protected measures to ensure that any of the aforementioned products do not leak through to damage floors, furniture, etc
Just a reminder that Monday is a holiday and the front desk, computer lab, art studio, and fitness room will be closed. Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the day off!
Also, the computer lab will be closed until further notice due to maintenance issues.

TempleFest was a great way for residents to learn about the various organizations that Temple offers, grab some free stuff, and hang out with new friends! Pictures can be seen here from The Temple News.
Last night’s concert, which presented Keri Hilson, proved how close the Temple community really is, because just about everyone enjoyed her performance!

Convocation is today!
Convocation is a very special time for incoming students to meet collectively and begin their academic journey. This mandatory event begins at 3:45 pm at the Liacouras Center.
Before then, however, there will be a text message scavenger hunt from noon-2:00 PM starting at the Bell Tower. Learn about Philadelphia’s best college campus and win awesome gift cards!
Afterward at 2 pm, there is a mandatory college meeting to meet the dean of students’ respective schools. See your Welcome Week booklet for the location.
Tonight enjoy a 100 foot banana split at 7pm at Mitten Hall, fourth meal from 8-midnight at the J&H Caf, and at 9 pm watch Drop Dead Diva with 3rd floor RA Matt P. in the TV lounge!!
